Happy New Year

I hope you had a wonderful amazing holiday with lots of turkey, stuffing and everything that goes with it and that you had fun.

We have about 5 days to go until this year ends and we go into 2007. If you do want the coming year to be different, if you want to make any changes at all and if you haven’t already, now is the time to set your intentions and goals. Don’t wait until January 1st. Arrive at the 1st, knowing exactly what it is you want to create and achieve in 2007. Remember to write goals in the now so that the unconscious picks them up as if they have already happened. Set small goals for each week and month and then set one bigger one for June and one for December 2007.

One of my goals for next year is to take a European vacation to Paris and Rome. Another one is to keep learning and getting one step closer to achieving all the things on my vision board. I’d love to hear what your goals are for next year.

That’s it for now folks. ‘til next year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy Holiday

Here I am again. I won’t make this long since I’m sure you are all very busy right now. Hopefully, having used some of the holiday time management tips, you are not stressed out and are getting things done with lots of time to spare.

Have an absolutely wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever other holiday you celebrate. Remember it’s not about being perfect, it’s about being grateful for what you do have and for having fun with family and friends.

‘til next year.

Living Fearlessly

I hope everyone is having a wonderful December. I was watching 3 of my grandchildren this weekend, all boys under six and one of the things that really struck me was that they were absolutely fearless. Even the 2 year olds. They didn’t stop to think about jumping from heights or climbing ropes on their climbing frame. They were just having fun. If there was an occasional knock or fall, even if there were tears, it was over in a few minutes. Aren’t they lucky!

We didn’t come into this world being doubtful or afraid we learned it. I made a decision a number of years ago that fear was not going to stop me from doing anything I chose to do. We are human, which means we will from time to time feel fear and doubt. It’s not about whether we ever have the feeling, it’s about how long we allow it to stay there and how we allow it to impact us. We all have choices about everything in life. If you’re allowing fear and doubt to hold you back, make a decision, a commitment to yourself that 2007 is going to be your year. That you are not going to be held back by any old message that might still be programmed in your unconscious. You can change the way you think and watch the new thinking change your life.

Happy Holidays. ‘til next time.

The Power of the Law of Attraction

I find that as we come to the end of a year, this is a good time for a little reviewing and reflection. Although everyone is busy getting ready for the holidays and celebrating with friends and family, this is also a very good time to look back over the year and see if the year was the way you wanted it to be. Did you achieve the goals you set for yourself, decrease stress, make more money or whatever you had planned to do. . If you did, that’s great, if you didn’t perhaps you might want to look at why you didn’t attract what you wanted.

There has been a lot written about the Law of Attraction in the last few years, especially this year since the movie The Secret came out. This week Ellen Degeneres had a couple of people on her show, who were featured in the movie, talking about the way our lives are created. Everything that happens to us, good & bad, believe it or not, is from choice. Most of the times they are unconscious choices that manifest in a negative way. If you haven’t heard about the secret, give yourself a treat and check it out at www.thesecret.tv I think you will find that it’s really worth taking the time.

Being a business coach working with 40+ women entrepreneurs and service professionals, and helping them to achieve their success goals, whether it’s a six figure plus income, more free time, less stress, better time management or whatever they are struggling with, everything I teach/coach and speak about is based on the Law of Attraction. We really do create our lives and attract into it all the things we don’t want as well as the things we do want.

I am teaching a FREE teleclass on Monday, December, 18th At 7p.m. Eastern, 4p.m. Pacific time called New Year, New Year – How to Use the Law of Attraction to bring into your life all the success you would like. If you are interested in taking the class, please send an e.mail to free@teleclass.com, with 2144-1 in the subject line and nowhere else. You will receive the contact information on registering. If you have any difficulty signing up, please send an e.mail to Mandi@MindMasteryCoaching.com and we will take care of it.

Go to www.websororitytalkradio.com, where you can hear my latest radio interview about how to use the Law of Attraction. It airs between December 1st – December 10th.

Time Management for the Holidays

I thought I’d share a couple of photo’s with you from my trip. The first photo is of me with my sister on the walkway beside the River Thames and the famous Big Ben in the background. In the other photo, you can see Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament and just about see the Tower of London on the left, where Henry VIII was beheaded. London is a city where history abounds.

I had a wonderful week and now I’m buckling down to get gifts bought, business caught up, teleclasses booked, client calls etc. In fact there’s lots to do in the coming weeks as I’m sure there is for all of you.

The secret to this time of the year, or any time, in order not to get stressed, is to decide in advance that you are going to stay calm, focused and organized. It’s all about how you choose to think and how you plan so that when the holidays arrive you are not still running around the day before still buying gifts, groceries or whatever and completely stressed.

There’s 26 days until Christmas Eve or for those of you who celebrate Hanukah there are 17 days. If there are other holidays around this time of the year that I haven’t mentioned, I apologize for my lack of facts. However, the same thing applies to everyone, you have a certain amount of time left. If you haven’t already made a plan, take a few minutes and do it today. Here are a few suggestions:
  • First, write out everything that you need to do before the holidays that don’t include working. Keeping it in your head doesn’t work. Writing is more productive.
  • Prioritize. By doing this you will know what needs to get done now and what really can wait until a week before.
  • Write out a gift list. Think about what you want to buy each person so that you have some idea when you get to the stores. Schedule in your planner exactly when you intend to get this done. Make it an appointment with yourself.
  • If you are making the holiday meal, write your grocery list and buy and pre-cook as much as you can in advance.
One of the most important things to remember is that it doesn’t have to be perfect. The holidays are about having fun and being with friends and family.

Happy Thanksgiving

Just a very short entry this week. Especially this month, look around and see all the wonderful things that you do have to be thankful for. Don’t focus on what you don’t have or what you wish you had, focus on what you do have and what you are willing to create for yourself so that 2007 is your best year ever.

Happy Thanksgiving. Have a wonderful day.

Live Without Regrets

Life can be very short when we least expect it! Although terrorist attacks are not the norm in most civilized countries, they can, as we have seen, happen. In fact there are a multitude of things that can unexpectedly and relatively quick end life.

Hopefully we will stay healthy and live to a ripe old age. To make space for this to happen, there are some circumstances that we might want to consider in order to live life on this earth without regret.

Anger, bitterness, impatience, frustration, lack of confidence and fear are all negative emotions and can have a physical impact. I encourage you to find ways to deal with them. Read personal development books, use a coach, work with a therapist, talk to someone who has objectivity, do some writing. There is no right or wront way. However you find yourself able to let go of negative emotions and however long it takes, I urge you to do so in order to live your life to the fullest. You deserve a life of joy, happiness, fun and laughter.

Training your mind to CHOOSE the life that you want

Continuing with the discussion of last time. Without training your mind to CHOOSE the life that you want, the subconscious area takes over and any old negative thoughts, habits, behaviors, continue to run your life. Especially if you are mainly looking at what you don’t have or what could have been, should have, might have, if only. The words that come out of our mouths is the way we are thinking. The way we think is the way we live our lives You can either be at cause for your life or at the affect of whatever happens in your life based on old messages, which nine times out of ten don’t even belong to you.

To be at cause for our lives is the place to be. CHOOSE to be in charge of what you want in life, what happens, how you think. Don’t live your life based on the words
you heard as a child that are still running around in your unconscious. Don’t live someone else’s life! Make up your own stories, hear your own messages, create your life based on what you want, not on what someone else thought or thinks it ‘should’ be. Become conscious enough to change your thinking. Look at the wonderful things around you to be grateful for. Find something positive in everything that happens. Take action now, there’s no time like the present to be living a life that you really love. “Change is inevitable, transformation is a choice.” Ask yourself a couple of questions. What areas would I like to change? What will it feel like when I achieve what I want?

Changing negative habits can change your life

Changing negative habits can change your life, which basically means changing the way that you think.

Your mind is the most powerful tool that you could possibly have, it creates just about everything that happens to us in life, negative or positive.

There are two areas of the mind, the conscious and the unconscious/subconscious.
Imagine a circle with a line through the middle.

The lower half represents your unconscious which is 99% and the upper half represents your conscious which is 10%. Imagine the 90% is like an old CD that keeps recording, one that you keep listening to even though you don’t really like it any more, it’s become a ‘habit.’ Maybe it’s time to have a new CD!

It may take work to stay in the 10% and be consciously aware all the time so that we don’t allow any old negative messages to take over, however it’s really worth the outcome. It won’t happen overnight, however if you take one step at a time, I can almost guarantee it will happen. I will continue this next time. In the meantime, if you have any questions or input I’d love to hear from you.

Don’t forget that the clocks go back one hour this Saturday night, enjoy your extra hour of sleep.

Welcome to the first issue of The Change Your Habits, Change Your Life Blog

I have many areas of expertise so tend to deal with many different challenges with people, both in their professional and personal lives. My clients refer to me as the Success Doc.

Old habits and behaviors can often hold us back from achieving the success that we would like in life, both personally and professionally. Someone said, “Change itself is inevitable, transformation is a choice.”

Although there are action and business plans, goal setting and vision building, in some way everything is based on The Law of Attraction.

Over the coming months, I thought we might explore and take a look at how this affects different areas of life. Your input and sharing any challenges you might have are very welcome. I’m sure that there will be many things we can learn from each other.
Question: What’s your biggest challenge. How can I help you?

‘Til next time
